MultiBeast installs almost all kexts to Libray/Extensions, except for FakeSMC. I've come across a lot of negativity towards, but why exactly is not clear to me, apart from: That's why I've embraced the installer ever since, and I've never had any problems, or at least none for which MultiBeast is to blame. Back when MultiBeast didn't exist, it's always been a pain getting all the files/kexts together. Personally, I've built and maintained about five or six hacks for myself and friends during the last ten years maybe. I've been lurking this subreddit for a while, and one thing has always bothered me: what's wrong with using MultiBeast?
